PAY RATE/STATUS: $15.00 per hour DOE / Part-Time, Non-Exempt / 20-28 hours per week

Under the supervision of the Guest Services Team Coordinator, the Guest Services Team Member is a high profile customer service position delivering the highest level of service to our members, exemplifying professionalism, and creating a welcoming, friendly, safe, and healthy environment. The Guest Services Team Member is responsible for welcoming and checking in guests, answering phones, managing customer issues and requests including technological support, selling membership tickets, and program registrations, facilitating COVID-19 health checks, and providing administrative support to the Community Engagement management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma is preferred but not required.
  • 1 year of experience in hospitality/service industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in Box Office or Guest Services is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience with Tessitura, Ticketmaster, Showare, Paciolan, Eventive, Uscreen, Upace or additional ticketing software, reservation and/or other CMS programs is preferred but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to multitask and utilize multiple databases concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with teamwork.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certified (or willingness to become certified)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Regularly required to communicate.
  • Consistent time working outdoors for a portion of work day.
  • Frequently facilitating COVID-19 Health Assessments for customers in accordance with CDC best practices.
  • Regularly required to communicate.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to do light lifting up to 25 lbs. is required (packages, miscellaneous supplies, etc.).
