The Old Globe seeks a self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented individual to join our team and work in a multifaceted and busy Producing office. Reporting to the Senior Producer, the Producing Associate will work with the Artistic, Casting, and Producing departments to engage more than 150 guest artists each year in the creation of its 16 show season.

Position duties include making and managing  formal offers to actors and creative teams, liaising with artists and their representatives, managing contract requests, assisting in creation of budgets related to the engagement of artists for workshops or other projects, proofreading contracts and programs, as well as other duties of the Producing Department. Preferred candidate will have familiarity with the agreements between the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) and Actors’ Equity Association, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to appropriately and effectively represent The Old Globe to guest artists and their representatives in spoken and written communications; have excellent computer, administrative, and organizational skills; and very strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants should have five years of administrative experience, preferably in a theatre or not-for-profit setting. Must be able to pass applicable background check.
