The Old Globe theatre located in beautiful Balboa Park seeks a seasonal House Manager for the busy upcoming summer season. Candidates should be aware that availability on evenings and weekends is required as part of the job responsibilities. Please note that this is a temporary position beginning in June 2024 and ending on September 15, 2024. 

The Old Globe has performances Tuesday through Friday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings with occasional weekday matinees.

The House Manager is responsible for ensuring that the theatre is managed smoothly prior to, during, and after each performance. Previous customer service experience in public facing positions is required. Previous House Management/Front of House experience preferred but not required. Must have excellent people skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize time management, and the ability to think and act under pressure. The hourly rate is $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
