Cast & Crew – Your Casting Connection!
A panel discussion on Youth Actors on Stage and Screen:  Learn about the Process and Enjoy the Moment
Please join SDPAL’s Cast & Crew education series on November 4th at 6pm.   While the panel is geared toward young people who have a desire to participate in youth theatre, professional theatre, and on-camera opportunities in San Diego, we certainly encourage members of all ages to attend and learn from the professionals on the panel.  Panelists James Vasquez (Director –  The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Old Globe Theatre), Kim Heil (Associate Producer/Casting Director – San Diego Repertory Theatre), and Desha Crownover (Artistic Director – San Diego Junior Theatre) will be joined by moderator Sandi Buehner (Film Producer/Momager), for a frank discussion about preparing young people for a positive experience, even when outcomes do not match expectations.  What are the professionals looking for in the audition room?  Are you using each experience as an opportunity for growth?  Parents are encouraged to attend. Hosted by San Diego Junior Theatre in the Casa del Prado Theatre on November 4th.  Doors open at 5:30, panel and Q&A from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
