San Diego Crawling is looking for fun, entertaining people to lead our History Tour Pub Crawls. As a Guide, you’ll take visitors from around the globe to 4 different bars in Gaslamp and provide a History Tour along the way.
The ability to memorize and present a script is important. Therefore, we are looking for people with presentation backgrounds such as teachers, hosts/hostesses, presenters, and actors.
Hours and Schedules:
Our pub crawls run daily from 2:45pm–5:15pm and 6:45pm–9:15pm. We have an additional third crawl on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:45am–2:15pm. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Ability to work weekday afternoons and weekends is a plus.
Pay:
Guides earn a flat fee of $50 per tour, plus tips from guests at the end of the crawl (averaging $5–$10 per person). We host groups of 2–12 people per crawl, with larger numbers for private crawls.
Requirements:
– Must be 21+ years old.
– Guides are not allowed to drink while leading a crawl.
